Just Passing Through. Thanks. Actually, I wrote the story in one hour and fifteen minutes. Kris found about five typos. (I'm sure there are more...don't tell me. (grin)) The other two hours and forty-five minutes were used to format the story, do a cover, and launch it on Kindle, Pubit, and Smashwords. And then put the story up here and write the how-it-was-done blog post.

As for belief, I honestly have very little, or at least if feels that way. I've just somehow learned at times to control the fear. Sometimes the fear wins, sometimes I win. Last night I won.

Thanks for the very kind comments.

4 hours. 4 blessed hours! You, sir, are the Neil Young of storytelling (for those who don't know, look up the story of how Mr. young wrote Ohio). What amazes me is not that you write faster than a hiccup, rather, what I admire (it's bad to envy, but to admire is good, at least that is what Pat Cooper says) about you is that you have the belief in yourself that you CAN and DO write a story in less than four hours. The belief. The belief that you can do it. The belief that you can do it and people will want to read it. That is something that is cooler than the other side of a pillow, sir. (And somehow, without even knowing you, I imagine that you've always had that belief, from the moment your finger first struck that type writer key.) I don't think enough people writing (hell, in this world) realize that belief is important. Hell, I would say that belief is more important than talent. Belief... well, let's just say that tonight belief is something that I have been thinking about, a lot.
Mazel Tov, sir!
