Doctors seem to think it will clear eventually, months down the road. No sign of any change yet.

Thanks, Frank. Yup, have done that and seen wonderful color pictures of the insides of both my eyes. Optic nerve very round and nice in one, expanded and not so nice in the other one. Going back in on January 4th to take a new picture to see if things have changed or are starting to get better. I got to the best doctors when it comes to eyes. And then also talked with my regular doc about it as well as a sort of second opinion.

Congrats to you and Kris! On the eye front I recommend finding an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist with the Optomap machine. Digital pictures are better than sketches and memory for comparisons. Take care and get well.

Dean, as much as I and a host of other people enjoy reading your insights into life, the universe, and everything, please don’t strain your eye! That makes me cringe just thinking about it. I’ve added you to my prayers; hope you feel better soon.

I was wondering just the other day about how hard/easy it would be to write a novel behind bars–I’m glad Kris won’t be finding out. Speaking of which, happy anniversary!
