Back in August I put up here for free the story “Jukebox Gifts.” Since this is going up a couple days before Christmas, I thought I would repeat the story this week, since many might have missed it in August. And I have another reason for doing so this week. I think this is my best Christmas story.
I seem to write a lot of stories set on Christmas Eve. About four Poker Boy stories are set on Christmas Eve, and five or six of the Jukebox stories are set on Christmas Eve as well. And I wrote a series of stories no one has seen about the character Stephen C. Armstrong and the Amazettes of Idaho, all set on Christmas Eve. But of all the Christmas stories I wrote over the years, this is the one that is closest to my heart.
“Jukebox Gifts” is a story about giving and trying to help others to better lives, sometimes at great costs to the person doing the helping. To me, that’s what Christmas is all about. I have been blessed in this life with so much, I now try to help others most of the year in one way or another.
I hope you enjoy “Jukebox Gifts” this second time around. And maybe next year I’ll write some new Jukebox stories for December. But I still might cap it off with this story again.
Have a great holiday season, everyone.

Lovely story. So perfect for the season.
