Day 14 of this Writing in Public challenge.
Not many fiction words at all today because I decided to make a choice and get all the workshops caught up from me leaving town last week.
Started off the day by crawling out around 1 pm, like normal, did e-mail, then headed off to errands and WMG Publishing where I worked on workshops.
Got home around 5 PM and wrote for about 45 minutes on the story I started yesterday. About 600 words done.
Nap, dinner, news, and then went to work on the online workshops. As I said this is a crazy week because July is ending and August workshops are starting, plus I pushed back a couple of the workshops because of my trip. I realized everyone was in on the assignments, so I just flat decided at 10 PM to keep going on the workshops, answering assignments, doing the response videos and so on.
And during that time Kris finished two columns I read. One was her normal Thursday column. Great as always.
I finished the workshop stuff around 4 AM after taking a few long breaks and watching some television to give my poor brain a rest.
So now I’m doing this and going to the basement to veg on bad television. Tomorrow will be a good writing day after the meetings and a dinner with some writers who are visiting town.
