Challenge,  On Writing,  publishing,  workshops

A Regular Sunday

A Regular Sunday

Writers meeting with just a few writers today until after four, then I headed out for a walk with a half mile of running in the middle, then back to the office to work on workshop stuff until time to go home at 7:30 to nap and then cook dinner.

Spent the evening on workshops and other things, then watched a bunch of television. Slowly feeling more rested.

New Workshop and New Schedule

As I said last night, a number of people have used the reward for supporting the Fiction River Kickstarter drive to buy workshops from November forward, so I wanted to get more choices up. So now the schedule for workshops is up through February.

You can still get workshops through the Kickstarter or direct. Workshops bought through the Kickstarter drive won’t start until November, so keep that in mind.

And the new Point of View workshop which is detailed right below this post has now been officially announced. As Kris and I feared and expected, no one seems interested. Sort of like the dialog workshop. Everyone thinks they know it already.

Eight Days Left

On the Fiction River Kickstarter subscription drive

Stunning how well it is doing. And we all would love to push it over the top of the next stretch goal since every supporter would then get a third book. We would love to get everyone who supported the drive that. How cool would that be?

So once again, here is a nifty video about some aspects of Fiction River. This one is about the Sweet Stories of Fiction River and has a wonderful picture of Kris and Kevin. As well as other writers and editors. In the picture of Kris and Kevin, you can clearly see how much those two old friends who met in a writing class in college and both became New York Times bestsellers care for each other thirty-five years later. Wonderful to see friendships like that.
