Another Sacred Cow Treatment

ANOTHER SACRED COW TREATMENT

Well, read one too many articles about the stupidity of giving a traditional author an advance so they could be free to write their book. That myth had to be stabbed at with my little sword.

Oh, and I got back to work on the novel.

THE DAY

Did an interview for a podcast this afternoon. Great fun and I’ll link to it when it comes out. Then off to walk, then to the mail, the store, and back to WMG offices where I worked on different stuff until 7 p.m. including starting on the Sacred Cow chapter.

Home to cook dinner, watch some television, do my email, finish the Sacred Cow chapter, take a nap, then back in here to fire back up on the novel.

More television, another chapter on the book. About 2,100 words total for the night. And I figured out what needs to go away in what I have already written, but I’m going to wait until I go over the end to make sure before I cut out anything. Normal for me.

And with the featured books below, still working my way though the nonfiction books. Interesting that with a new Sacred Cows post the first book with the first ten is the featured book tonight. I didn’t plan that, honest.
