More Workshops Organized

While the Half-Price Sale Is Happening…

I figured I would continue to try to put some order on the massive numbers of workshops, lectures, pop-ups, and classes we have. A curriculum if you will. Very loose one. Very.

Yesterday’s blog I did what I considered the top twenty regular and classic workshops to take if your desire is to become a better storyteller. Basically craft workshops.

I am going to go back and add in Shared World Class and Year of the Cat class. Both are great on craft focused writing.

And I tried to put the workshops yesterday in an order that would make sense to take them over time.

Remember, every workshop (regular or classic) has six weeks of videos and a response video for each assignment usually, and an assignment video to help with the learning. Anywhere from 42-46 different videos per workshop.

Tonight I figured I would stay with workshops before moving on to other areas. I have organized these into general focused categories.

And remember, at the moment everything is HALF PRICE on Teachable until July 7th late.

ATTITUDE  FOCUSED COURSES

If you are having trouble with your attitude about writing, getting to the computer, and so on, here is a list of workshops that would help you. Don’t even think of starting into these workshops without first getting Lecture on Heinlein’s Rules. Or read my blog posts or get my book about the topic. And yes, a couple of these workshops are also on the craft workshop list.

I would take these in the order I have them listed.

1… Attitude Workshop
2… Killing the Critical Voice (offered every month)
3… Writing into the Dark
4… The Magic Bakery (classic workshop)
5… Publishing 101
6… Speed (Depth workshop suggested)
7… Productivity (classic workshop)
8… Edit Your Own Work (classic workshop)

ALSO… You might want to consider the Decade Ahead quarters and Licensing Transition (Both now extended for another year on all of them.)

Thank you for this, sir. I’ve grabbed the Publishing 101 course for August. I’m looking forward to it, and will definitely be saving for the Craft and more of the business end of things.
