New Pop-Up Available

The New Year is Coming…

How to set goals and challenges and streaks and habits and so much more for the new year is in the 5th Pop-Up now available on Teachable. It is called “Remaining Focused” and has all sorts of things that can help you hit your writing goals in 2019. Plus it will be there for you for the entire year on your dashboard to review if you remember.

— Also, a spot still open in the Mentor Program I am doing for a few writers for the entire year of 2019. Information a few posts back if you are interested.

— Another thing on this late Sunday evening. The January regular workshops are now up on Teachable. Only ten of them. We have cut back on the number each month at least for now.

Also, the second Futures workshop will start in January. You can sign up for the entire four Futures Workshops as well. The first one you can take any time. Again, on Teachable.

    Dean.

Just another quick thank you – and to Kris as well – for all the encouragement like you’re giving here for setting and starting goals and streaks and just working away.

This is day 1,460 for me – 4 years – of writing something every single day. I couldn’t have done it without the example you two have set – like with your blog streak.

Along the way I’ve kept it all fun like you always mention and I kept one thing in mind from the start of the streak…just 165 words a day gives you a 60,000 word novel at the end of the year.

My goal is just to keep writing something every day – learning craft from those who went before to add to the mix – and the rest will happen.

p.s. I mentioned before that I fall down on Heinlein’s Rule Four: You Must Put Your Story on the Market. I’m working on it, putting out two books this month and working to put out two every month going ahead til I get the work out there. I’m crossing every finger on that one! LOL

Wow, Lloyd, fantastic streak!! That is so cool!

And yup, you and me both on Rule #4. I fell off of that this year myself. Climbing back on that slippery horse as well.

      Keep having fun and thanks!
