    Copyright

Basic Nuts and Bolts Copyright For Writers Just posted the copyright class as a stand-alone class as well as part of the Master Business Class, which now has 15 different classes as part of it, and more to come. Very straight forward, here is what you need to know. Going to be getting into licensing soon in the master business class, so Kris and I wanted to make sure everyone had the copyright foundation since most writers just never get around to it. Also in the master business class going to be posting information in the next week or so about the Licensing Expo and what we are doing there…

A Bunch of Stuff… First off, for those of you who are supporting my Patreon page https://www.patreon.com/deanwesleysmith, I have attempted to put up in raw form the first two stories from the challenge with covers. No clue if it worked and if only the correct tiers can see the posts. I will be putting up some Smith’s Monthly issues shortly for all supporters. But tonight trying to learn the ropes on this. If some of you who are familiar with Patreon would let me know how I did, that would be appreciated. Thanks!! Master Business Class Finally it has all 13 of the first basic foundation classes up. That is…

    Master Business Class Officially Online

To No One’s Surprise… The 2021 Master Business Class was to be held here in Las Vegas in October, but now has been moved online. And we will never have another Master Business class in person. The 2020 one was scheduled to be the last one, then because of Covid we moved the last one to October 2021. But folks, even with the miracle of the vaccines, October is still too early. And, of course, we have idiots out there who will not get vaccinated and Kris and I and WMG Publishing can’t force everyone attending to be vaccinated and prove it. And those of you jumping on planes can’t…

(I took over thirty pages of notes this year.) We will announce guest instructors for 2020 as we get them, but for the moment take a look at the web…

    Still Four Spots Open

Business Master Class… I have spent a number of hours today getting things organized, seeing what I had missed, that sort of thing and I discovered, much to my surprise, that we still have four spots open. In fact, I was sort of shocked. I am so excited about this coming Business Master Class that starts October 25th that I sort of felt (without checking) that it had filled up. Kris and I spent some time on a conference call a few days ago with Deidre from the Global Licensing Group about what she will be talking about and some of the sessions she will be doing. I got finished…
