Two Fantastic Additions to The Master Business Class

Still Four Spots Open for Sign-Ups…

And now I can proudly add two fantastic new faces to the group pouring out more information than all of us will be able to handle in five days. And both have major experience running large indie presses.

Allyson Longueira and Marie Whittaker. That’s right, they are both coming!

Marie Whittaker is an award-winning essayist and author of urban fantasy, children’s books and supernatural thrillers.

Marie is now Associate Publisher and Project Editor at WordFire Press and the Director of Superstars Writing Seminars, a world-class conference focusing on the business of writing.

She is also the assistant to bestselling author Kevin J. Anderson.

Writing as Amity Green, her debut novel, Scales, the first in her Fate and Fire series, debuted in 2013. Her supernatural thriller, The Witcher Chime, was a finalist for the Indie Book Awards in 2017. Many of her award-winning short stories appear in numerous anthologies and publications.

Allyson Longueira will be familiar to anyone who has worked with WMG Publishing. And yes, she feels she is healthy enough to attend this year. She is the publisher and CEO of WMG Publishing Inc.

An award-winning writer, editor and designer, Allyson Longueira has more than 15 years of experience in fiction and nonfiction in multiple media, including newspapers, magazines and books. She holds a BA in English from Rutgers University and an MA in design and editing from the prestigious University of Missouri School of Journalism.

As editor, Allyson led her newspaper to three general excellence awards in three consecutive years from the Society of Professional Journalism and the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association. She has taught writing and design at the college and professional levels, including a post as adjunct professor at the University of Oregon and teaching professional workshops and lectures through WMG Publishing.

Allyson is an editor of Fiction River: An Original Anthology Magazine and serves as series editor for Fiction River Presents, Fiction River’s line of reprint anthologies. She is the publisher and CEO of WMG Publishing, Inc., headquartered in Lincoln City, Oregon, and a pioneer in modern indie publishing. You can follow her weekly blog about publishing at wmgpublishinginc.com.

So Allyson and Marie are now coming to help writers. The two of them deal with more publishing details on a daily basis than I can imagine.

Folks, you don’t want to miss this year. Write me if you want to jump in. Four spots still open, and four spots still open in the room block. October 25 through 29th. Cost is $750. Held in Las Vegas, NV.

Oh, my. This looks so fantastic. Wish I could make it this year. My little ones are top priority right now, however. (And it’s not easy taking notes and packing a six-month old around! LOL.)

I am hoping to attend in the future, however. Very much looking forward to it.

I’m with you, E.R., weeping at a distance. Except for me, I’m giving birth. Or at least close enough I’m banned from airline travel, and a big a road trip would be a disaster.

I’m hoping I can make it next year or the following. This is the last baby; I can’t survive another pregnancy.
